Moon details, 2 August 2004
On the night of 1-2 August, 2004 the moon was 16 days old (2 days after full). I captured a sequence of images along the terminator in the North Eastern part of the moon.

The pictures were all taken using the ToUcam with my 216mm f/5 Newtonian telescope, with 2x Barlow lens resulting in an effective focal ratio of f/10. Around 150 frames were captured for each image, with the best 60% stacked in Registax 2. iMerge was used to create the mosaic, and further post-processing performed using the Gimp.

Full Mosaic The full mosaic spans an area from the Mare Humboldtianum area and crater De La Rue in the North, down to Gauss, Cleomedes and the very northernmost parts of the Mare Crisium.
